If we applied the timeline of life on earth to social media, the mid-2010s era of YouTube and Vine would fall squarely in the Cretaceous Period of the Social Mesozoic Era.

This was what many consider the internet’s Golden years—when YouTube felt like one big, strange summer camp where any kid with a camera could post whatever they wanted: daily vlogs, sketch comedy, diss tracks, story times—the list goes on.

Fortunately, I was able to jump in on the action.

In 2013, before I could even drive a car, I launched a YouTube channel that, somehow, grew into a thriving creative platform. The channel, better known as Fresh Men, garnered millions of views and built a dedicated audience.

Over time, I produced and published more than 100 original videos, blending storytelling, humor, and visual style to connect with viewers around the world. This work led to unforgettable experiences: meeting fans, appearing on radio shows, attending feature film premieres, and eventually partnering with AwesomenessTV in Los Angeles for advertising, revenue sharing, and sponsorships.

It remains one of the most meaningful chapters of my life.
